Does anyone know if you can get locking wheel nuts for the Tamora, to keep the £1000 worth of 18" wheels and tyres attached to the car?

I asked Jonathan at TMS earlier, who said that he didn't think you could, but would investigate further, however, no news as yet.

I'm collecting the car on Saturday morning and would like to get some before then, if at all possible.

Locking wheel nuts received today, and I only placed the order yesterday. Excellent service!

And they cost less than £40 including VAT and del.

By the way, in case anyone is interested, I have managed to persuade Leven to buy a 'spare' Tamora badge, so that they can offer the 'send out a new badge/return the old badge' system, as they do with the others.

I've already got my order in and they hope to get the new badge out within around 10 days. Add a few days for me to return my original badge to them and they should be ready to do the next one within a couple of weeks.

That's right. Apparently the Tamora badge on the back is mounted in a similar way to the Chimaera & Griffith badges, except that it sits on a couple of springs, (same as Tuscan?), and the back of the badge presses a microswitch to release the boot.

Believe it or not, there was paint already peeling off the badge on my Tamora the day I collected it from TMS, (although they had touched it up with some extra black paint to disguise it!).

I had Leven badges with the resin coat on my Chimaera and the quality was very good.

I was originally told by Leven that there are a couple of rubber bungs that can be removed for access to the two nuts that hold the badge on. However, having looked at mine, I can't immediately see them, so it may be a case of removing the catch mechanism?

If it looks too complicated, I'll get it fitted when the car goes back in for the 1000 mile service.

you might have to rip the carpet off behind and re-glue it (Copydex good, not so strong so you can rip it off again if needed). Let us know
