Obviously a lot of people are very happy with their sports exhausts, and I am very very tempted, but just wondering - how many of the owners with sports exhausts are driving their cars to and from work every day, crawling along in traffic, driving along slow roads, and how many just use their TVR's at weekends?

For the moment at least, mine is a daily driver, and just think it could become annoying on a daily car?

I'm of the same mind...

I'd love to have that extra "Snap, Crackle & Pop", but concerned that it might just be too noisy in the cabin for my everyday usage...?!

Use mine every day.

It is particularly noisy and I love it to bits.

Great question Alex. I watched all of Nubbin's EuroHoon videos last night at full volume I absolutely know I want one but also worry about it making the car less useable for every day driving and annoying on long motorway stints. And then there's resale considerations...

I'm not so worried about resale - I would keep the original exhaust, then if selling privately, you offer the option of which exhaust to the buyer (for a slight price consideration), or if trading in, you can give the dealer the original exhaust to re-fit.

Good question Alex, something I was thinking of asking!

My Tamora's also my everyday car so would be interested which other sports-exhauster-owners are everyday-drivers and what they think?

Cheers..... Andrew

Does the ACT/JP version affect the warranty?

I am keeping my original for that reason. I also would not be quite so keen if I used the car everyday, which I don’t. I totally understand your concerns, but the noise, wow is all I can say! Perhaps passion will overrule practicality. The only thing is as a pedestrian in and around the city of London I see a lot of vehicle exotica and I must say now I find myself thinking, our sounds better than that, am I sad or what!

Theres always the option of wearing those little yellow earplugs, far better then those boiled sweets offered on aeroplanes which always dropped out of my ears

Fish used ours every day to and from work with a sports exhaust on. No probs whatsover, and you can never really get fed up of the noise surely?

I would be more worried about the wind noise, the exhaust is nothing in comparison!

I've been living with sports exhaust on a daily basis for a few years now and enjoy it as much now as I did on the firstday I heard it. There's the odd comment from the neighbors but these are mostly positive

The funniest moments are when you start your car in a car park and the exhaust sound makes the car alarms of nearby cars go off!

I have managed that once with my standard exhaust, driving past a car in the car park, but would like to do it more often
