I pick up my new T350 on Saturday.

What a car. That Russian certainly has applied some pressure in the right place when it comes to build quality.

It was a 300 mile trip down to Devon to pick it up from Penisula TVR who were fantastic. And a very wet drive home.

They fitted a sports exhaust to the car. What a blast!!
Has to be the best £400 spent in years. Crackle Crackle Pop Pop. I have muscle ache in my face as I grinned constantly for 300 miles.

For anyone who has not had an after market exhaust fitted.

DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There seem to be a lot of different exhaust upgrades going around with dealers offering "their own upgrade" etc. Do we know which is the best? - so far i have only heard of ACT and Blueflame - although i know very little about either.

Would like to get one soon - but unsure what the differences are in build quality & sound etc across the various manufacturers.....

anyone want to enlighten me?

And me please - I've seen too many posts now about how good they are so will get one.

Any recommended for the North East or will I have to take my Tamora into a dealer + have the parts sent there?

In 2 mins of searching I've found:

- Blueflame (Wigan)
- ACT (South of London)
- JP exhausts (Suppliers to ACT?)
- Peninsula's own system
- TVR Power's own system
- Ascar (Sheffield)

There are so many threads entitled 'Sports Exhaust', and then there's the worry that some won't fit on 2002 Tamora's...

I'm sure I could find all the prices/comments on each but not many seem to be situated in the North East!

Very good, there is a lot of power so you have to be extremly carefull at putting the foot down, and only do that when you have full run it in, in my case 3000 miles.

Sorry forgot to aswer the question "is a red rose exhaust sound different". I think yes is the answer. Even with a standard exhaust a red rose is louder as it has tuscan s pipes coming out, with the sports exhaust on, well you can imagine the rest!

TMS will be fitting a sports exhaust to my T350C when I get it. I believe the system they offer is the ACT one. They had one fitted to their last demo car (blue with white stripes and now up for sale) and it sounded awesome!
