Anybody know how the interior panel on the doors are fixed to the door?
I can't see any screws so I assume they must be glued on. The passenger window refuses to move so I need to investigate.

Just had a sports exhaust fitted at Ascar in Sheffield. The best I've heard yet, they make it to suite the sound you want and are very helpful. in fact it was so good my son booked his Elise in the following day for the same treatment, highly recommended.

Have a look at this..

www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=103671&f=7&h=0&hw=removing+door+panel

Search under removing door panel, if the link does not work...

"under the door there are some plastic clear gromets, take the off and you will have access to the 3 cross screws, take these screws out and the door card will come out."

It worked for me..

Willyworm, where are you? I have been down to Ascar as well, but so far not taken up their exhaust option. How much did they charge you, and is there any chance of getting together so I can hear you exhaust and compare it with my ACT exhaust?

(E-mail me via my profile if you prefer)

Yes, we can meet up preferably at the weekend. I am at Drax near Selby. The exhaust is dearer than others quoted at £550 all included, but it was only in for the day. Not only does it sound good but also looks good. They will give you lots of options on sound and looks, and I thought it worth it.
Wonder what they could do for my chainsaw!!

Come on... please post a couple of pictures...

Anyone else have any pictures of their upgraded sports exhaust. Looks like I need to invest otherwise I'll be the only Tamora in the UK with a standard exhaust !!

For that price I reckon you had the whole system replaced? They quoted me £300 for a new back box or £250 for no back box and straight through pipes.... I'll try to arrange a meet, possibly next weekend?
