OK folks I have had the TVR power treatment! All I can say is the neighbours are not going to like me anymore! As some of you know we have a Red Rose engine Tamora, which apparently has Tuscan S exhaust tubes that used to come down to the standard box. I did like the sound, but over the past 3700 miles I found that it was not really the noise I was expecting. Well it is now! Two lovely little silencers fitted and a great deal of pride and care taken! Very impressive and the noise, well put it this way, it sounds like the Queen of the Goths should do in my opinion.

On another note I had an error code 26 come up on the way back and an error code 24 flap error (within 30 minutes) but they did not repeat, so I don’t know if its a gremlin or fault. Now done over 3900 miles and I must say not consumed 1 ounce of oil, I love this car!

Finally a quick message about TVR-Power they are awesome, extremely professional, ingenious and a cracking good team certainly would use them again and my warranty remains 100% intact!

Happy everyone

Its frighteningly loud. But it makes such a difference, now I have the car, the performance and the sound! Things can not get any better!

Oh bloody hell!!
I've been trying to stop myself wanting a sports exhaust for ages now. Went to Brands last weekend and the noise of the T400's was fantastic. Now this thread just makes it worse!! I'm booked in to Topcats to get the geometry sorted at the end of the month. Looks like I'll be booked to TVR Power EARLY in the new year...DOH

Simon, I was interested in this statement because the factory suggested to me a while ago that a sports exhaust may invalidate the engine warranty. Has this statement actually come from the factory?

I'm really envious, by the way!

Is it true that these sports exhausts release a little more BHP, or is that just fantasy? (I only want one for added pops and bangs )

yes the warranty statement is true, its fitted by TVR, its an approved TVR part, and its a sanctioned upgrade. Other makes not fitted by TVR Power may invalidate your warranty.

As for altering the car, yes they make some adjustment using a laptop! From my perspective ours does not need anymore BHP as its already frikin scary!

How could you tell if you've gained a few more hp when you've 350bhp to start with?

But I agree the pops & bangs on the over-run are amazing.
Best mod I've done so far.

I have a Sports Exhaust from ACT (www.actproducts.co.uk)that I only used for one day, then I chopped the car in for a T350, so I have to get one for the 350 now . Its for the facelift model, and its for sale. Put it on ebay a few time, couple of bites, but they were for the old pre facelift, which have a different prong set up.

Any one intrested, drop me a line. Oh, and its takes 1 hours to get on, and one hour to get off for warrenty issues

certainly increases responsivness above 3000 rpm dont know about bhp. Think its to do with valve overlap, clearing the gasses quicker. Over to the mechanics for the official answer.

Standby to fall out with the neighbours. Personally I am little nervous about passing the Bib in case I get pulled! I did pass a couple on the way back from TVR Power mind, who immediately stuck there thumbs up and waved! So are you going the TVR Power route, if you are make sure you tell them you have a Red Rose engine as it makes a difference, as mine has Tuscan S pipes that come off the engine and they needed to mod it on the fly.
