SE Tamora meet anybody?

There must be quite a few London and Home Counties Tams around, and I've not yet seen another one while driving, or at all in Brighton, be good to get a few together.

How about a Sun meet and drive to a pub for lunch?

Anyone interested, and what date be good?

17 or 24 Oct?

7, 14, 21 or 28 Nov?

Any T350's would of course be very welcome.

If there is any interest, and depending who wants to come, we can then work out the most convenient location.

Sunday is the TVR Tuscan Challenge. There are a zillion TVRs going along. There are a load of threads about it in the other forums.

yes, 24th is fine by me as is Gatwick - although not too early - have about the same journey as Ffirg. Only other potential idea is to meet at a motor racing event or track day... as an idea..

Well I guess Brands would be the most convenient circuit, but unless there is anything on 24 October, we'll have to leave that for another time. I would quite like to get my car on an airfield day at some point.

I've just spotted that there is a track day at Bassingbourn on 23 October:

How would people feel about going to this instead? Only £99, and I've been on a couple of Motorsport Events days before, they're very good.

That sounds good also - unfortunately my insurance will not cover it, but just sent off for a quote for the day. Even if people do not/cannot take their car on the track - it will be a good place to meet anyway.

Chris, you could fly up the M4 and join us (Ffirg) at the A34/M4 junction then headup to Bassingbourn.

Most insurance companies don't cover, Frizzell is one of the few that I've heard of that do, may switch to them next time round.

I previously went to Competition Car Insurance for cover for the day, but their costs then shot up, and last time most of us didn't bother, basically because on one of these airfield days, they limit the number of car on track, and if you spin off, it tends to be onto harmless grass - no nasty armcos or anything.

Of course you could hit another car, but I've not seen anything remotely close happen.
