I will be taking it very easy, the circuit looks very deceptive. Anyone want to open a book on how many locally punted Golf 1.9TDs overtake me?

I'll probably hook onto a local in a less capable car and follow them to get the lines (and probably follow them into the armco

When we were there at the end of June, we (T350C, Cerb 4.5RR, Griff 4.3) were all overtaken by a VW campervan.

I did the ring for the first time at the beginning of July in my Tuscan. Was overtaken left, right and centre by all manner of exotic and non-exotic cars. Great circuit but would take ages to learn as it's mostly fast blind corners. Ben Lovejoy's site was a real eye opener before the trip www.nurburgring.org.uk/. Be safe, know the rules and have fun.

I was. It was fine. Nice place, lots of likeminded petrolheads around. The Dorint hotel was ideally located too. I think the nearby roads are as much fun though A bit more runoff too
