Sagaris door cap.

I have lost the rubber door finisher, the piece at the lock end of the door, it looks a bit like an ear!

Having a nightmare trying to find one as they are unique to the Sagaris, any ideas anyone?

As rare as hen's teeth.... I got a couple of spares for my Tuscan and Chimaera couple of years ago from RACETECH (IIRC) . TVR made themselves and the moulds and injection machine went to somewhere in the South West when the TVR closed, but the guy then retired , so I think they are now lost... Good luck in your search

Yeah, spoken to RG and all the others! Seems like they are unobtainable now

First time I have come a blank for a part with all the Tvrs I have owned, bummer

Might have produce a small batch run with some company. Bit expensive though as they need to develop the moulds.

Unless alternative substitute can be found.

What about casting your own using Devcon Flexane? - you would need a sample of course to make a mould.

Have you tried any breakers ? ... Bellhill,Douglas Valley or Ashingdale

Yep, tried all the breakers, trouble is I dont think Sags get as far as the breakers.

Dean, as mine is just about away for the winter, you could use my door capping as a template, and make some up, sell them on?

I would buy two sets of 4 caps if someone is willing to make some...the caps on my car aren't getting better ;-)

Really annoying this! I have an Uncle that makes injection moulds, so I will go and have a chat with him next week, setting up costs would be hideous I imagine!

If you got the costs made up, I'm sure if you spoke to the major TVR parts brands (you know the usual suspects that don't like each other!), then there could be a market - enough to make it economical and break-even at least?

And are you sure they are unique to the Sag? Not the same as Tamora/T350???

Drivers side Ant, the T350/Tamora ones are similar but not the same.

Looks the same as my Tuscan Convertible/Mk2 passenger door capping. I would say poor quality because the white bit on the first photo would be visible.

I have 2 there both new unused but one came with sticker with part number on and thats the one in photo, but sticker had taken a real hold and will not clean off.
