Supposedly theyve said they want to increase the build quality on the Sagaris and so have delayed production
Correct. The Sagaris is still being produced, unchanged. However, the man in charge wasn't happy with the finish on one of the newer cars (not a Sagaris though) so has decided to delay production whilst he improves quality.
I believe TVR had started to produce the dealer demos (there is a picture of a yellow shell on here somewhere) but I suspect the delay will mean that the cars won't make the dealers until the end of the year.

I have ordered one and delivery was given as November, but as mentioned production has stopped to improve quality. I have now been told by the factory that my car will now be delayed by 2 months.
However they are going to loan me a TVR from November until my Sagaris arrives. All I have to do is insure it.
So I'am thinking it will be with me in January......

I've still got one on order. Full deposit paid. At the motorshow they said 'October' then 'november' and then a letter saying the whole thing's been delayed for 'two months' in a letter that also offered use of a 'late model car' until the Sagaris arrives.
Your guess is as good as mine when it will actually show up but if quality is improved then I'm prepared to wait. Let's hope they're fixing the sp6 engine once and for all after all the rebuild stories.
The biggest worry is that the new owner puts his stamp on the car in some way that detracts from the stunning original. That said, a 6 speed box, racing seats and a supercharger option wouldn't do it any harm....

I ordered my Sagaris pre-motor show a while ago with delivery scheduled for April '05. Is there any foundation to the suggested loan car offer??
I dont seem to have received any communication from TVR yet.
