Hello.. still looking for a Tamora...

Just wondering if anyone knows the history of any of the models currently on the market, any worth looking at or avoiding. Obviously please send me an email if it cannot be posted on the message board !!!

Have finally managed to take a look at one over the weekend love the car 100%.. unfortunately could not stretch to the £38k price tag.... anything upto £30-£34k is more realistic.. depending on spec/age/mileage.

Thanks..

Seems a good price if the car's been looked after, wouldn't hurt to give them a ring (I travelled from the Forest of Dean to Poole in Dorset to get mine!

thanks Chris, does look good - have fired off numerous emails today to get more information on the better looking deals. Will see what comes back. More than happy to travel the country - once I find the perfect (close to) Tamora at the right price !!

mine (well my old one) is now at Gatwick TVR for sale.

It's a good one and fully sorted. Basic spec, but nice. It's the wildfire red one with red and black Bison - nice reg plate too.

Tell them I sent you and you might wangle a discount saying you've spoken with the previous owner.

Cheers

Stating the obvious, but the photo shows it has been reduced by £3000!

CGerbera, agree - although it also made me think how long have they had it and why. The original PH advert has 6k on the clock, while on their site it has nearly 8k - again makes we think how long have the had it and thats a lot of test drives !!

JayJay - do you know how long? I know its been on PH since I've been looking.

There are few 'bargains' on the PH Classifieds, if you picked up one of these from a PH'er, and if it has been well looked after, I would use the spare money I saved in the budget to book it into TVR Power for a Blue Print, that way you know the engine's as good as the best out there.

Chris that sounds like a really good idea - I think it might be worth doing whatever Tamora I get. Do you know of anyone that has had a 'blue print' done at TVR Power and what they thought?

not looked at the Gatwick one yet, been trying to get one with a/c. I know there is mixed opinion on this -some people say the cabin gets hot and others have no problems. My current roadster gets hot in the summer and unfortunately I need to turn up at customer sites in a reasonable presentable state !! . I have driven a couple now and I just love the car beyond believe. Holding out to get the right one, but sooner or later I'll not be able to drive away from the dealer in my current car !!

We have air con. I am glad we have it. Not for when the roof is down, but for when the roof it up! Makes for a very pleasant environment!

Just been away for 1 week and had TVR withdrawl symptoms, just about to phone the dealer to see I can go and collect the car, as they were mending the heat exchanger that decided to spring a leak .
