FIrst of all hi to you all

I currently own a modified VX220 Turbo pushing out 265bhp and have a deposit on a 360 Spider which will be arriving in around 12-16 months.

I use the VXT as my every day car and I'll be doing to same with its replacement which I'm hoping will be a nearly new T350C. I'm going to test drive one tomorrow but despite me loving the looks / engine / noise I'm still not convinced about the reliability. Especially since it's going to be my every day car. The VXT whilst wonderful to drive is just a little too compromising for me now, I'd prefer something a little more luxurious inside and with A/C for definite!

Basically what do I need to look for in the 350C? Are there any major niggles with the car which could cost me in the long run? I'll be looking at buying a car with A/C and with at least a year of the engine warranty remaining.

Thanks

I'm sorry, but you can not seriously compare the VX220 Turbo with a T350. I'm fortunate to have both and as regards reliability, the VX is quite simply a pile of shite. Electrics are awful, body fit is poor and its basic to say the least. It's a late 2003 car and well looked after so you can't blame it on lack of care.

The T350 from new has has only very minor problems which have been easily remedied for no cost. It has completed almost exactly the same mileage as the VX over nearly the same peiod of time and is vastly superior (so it should be)in every respect.

You need to toss aside any reliabilty comparison, drive the T350 and decide if it can live with you... I think you will find it can. Oh and while you are at it get your deposit back on the 360, cos you won't be needing that at all, believe me!
