Tamora Deposits

Am interetsed if anyone else who took the plunge on the Tamora heard anything from TVR / dealers about the progress of the Tamora or are we do we all have to get info from this esteemed site way way in advance. (ref Sports car show at the weekend and magazine trials) It would seem from comments in other strings it was the same with the Tuscan My first experience with a new TVR and am less than impressed with the hand over readies then nothing from either dealers or TVR (despite enquiries). It would have only taken a little effort and interest from either to have made all the difference Thanks for the info Ted.

Don't think that this experience is unique to TVR - I have been expressing an interest in the new Nissan Z here in the US and apart from a "thank you for your interest" email - nada. The Manhattan Nissan dealer didn't even know the URL for the website, and wasn't aware of release schedule / car details... My experience with TVR was that the 2 best sources of info (assuming the factory is incommunicado) are your dealer (as long as they're one of the decent ones) and websites like PH.

I put a deposit down at last year's motor shaow, and my dealer (Hillfoot in Sheffield) have been helful whenever I've 'phoned. They did fear that there might be a big delay in the Tamora reaching productiion, but I'm promised a factory visit to choose colours etc. After the release of the latest pictures, it looks like the dealers thought that demo cars should be in the dealers by the end of May might be accurate. Can't wait!!

Spoke to TMS with whom I placed my order at the Motor show and they reckon a demo car sometime in July. Likewise , I can't wait. SMiles
