Over on the Tuscan forum, I've placed two threads to vote on whether you've had/not had engine rebuilds, to try and get some meaningful statistics on whether there are still problems, how endemic they are, etc.

Please check out the following thread if you have had an engine rebuild:
www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=117965&f=5&h=0

And the following thread if you haven't had a rebuild:
www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=117964&f=5&h=0

Cheers.

I've put, and subsequently "bumped", a post in the Cerb forum, too.

Can whoever's moderating this forum make this post sticky for a bit, so the engine-poll can get as realistic a sample of owners as possible? Pretty please?

[Edit]: Cheers, that was quick.

Absolutely gutted, sun shining and my pride and joy is sitting in the Blackpool queuing system awaiting engine rebuild at 4000 miles....yes 4000 miles. Been told that my engine default is a one off problem.....hmmm obviously not the case!!! Been assured I should get the car back before next summer. In the meantime I'm running around in my beaten up Honda Accord, Great!!

Ah, but many of the cars have done <10,000 miles, and have been built in the last year or so.

General principle: If you don't ever drive it, it won't ever break
Secondary principle: Newer ones/rebuilt ones do seem to be fixed to some extent
