hello all, great forum (been reading it for days!!), first post here, with a few questions. sorry if this topic been covered before !

i am certainly going to purchase a tvr, i need some advice on which beast to go for. i do not have any preferance as of yet, but i am sure it will either be a t350c or a tuscan. the car will be used daily and i anticipate 1000 miles per month. my budget is £40k max. i do alot of motorway in the week, and b roads w'end, and need to be able to get golf clubs and suit carrier in. able to purchase from sept onwards.

have any of you ran both ? pro's and con's against either ? running costs of either ? space diff between 350 and tuscan.

if i go tuscan, should i save much more (with extras) and get my name down for the tuscan 2?

is there any theory/truth that new models will not have same issues as older speed six?

Have you looked at both in the flesh....

If so you'll know that its not easy getting golf bats in a T350. Apart from that you need to test drive both,
i prefered the T350. You will need an extra 3k for your extras ie AC and maybe paint. Oh and the last paragraph (dont even go there)

Nice choice......

Edited to say i dont think you will get your bats in a tuscan if the roof is off... just a thought.

The Tuscan roof sits horizontally at the top of the boot space so won't interfere with your bats.

If you want a convertible then get a new Tuscan 2; realistically you'll have to wait until the new year though.

If you're in a rush get a T350 but drive them both first.....

I've run both as daily drivers over four years. Both are equally practical you will get a full set of clubs in a 350 but two in the Tuscan. The 350 drives a lot better than the 'old' tuscan. I beleive the tuscan 2 will be essentially the same as the 350.

You could buy mine thought it's just gone up for sale and is a superbly sorted car. In fact it will be far harder to let the 350 go over the Tuscan.

Hope you enjoy the car whatever the decision.

Looks like you have made your choice for the time being. Test drive them first, then see what you think. I personally find the T350 far easier to handle. But my heart is still with the Tuscan for looks

We were exactly like that when trying to choose between a Tam and Tusc, Tam won the day though, just!

Get a new, top-spec Tamora, with RR conversion - should be about 40-42k. The golf racquets can go on the back shelf behind the seats, leaving room in the boot for the roof panel, which is what you have to do.

(I believe the latest Tamoras have suspension revisions from the new Tuscan 2 as well)

Or alternatively, there's a cracking T350 Targa for sale in the classified at the moment.

Noticing that you're based in the North West, we've got a choice of Tuscan, Tuscan S and T350 demonstrators that you're more than welcome to come and view and try for size.

Take them out for a test-drive and see what you think. Give Bill Fazackerley a call - on 01942 717373 - to make the necessary arrangements.

I was actally looking for a Tuscan / Tuscan S because of the Looks / Performance and boot (I too play golf) Went to see John at Racing Green and he threw the T350 into the mixing bowl. Thank's i said but you won't fit Golf clubs in the back of that! Well you can 2 sets fit in with 2 trolly's and still room for shoe bags!!! I know as i did it today I was also advised by another customer that the T350 was a better day to day car. There is also the Wow factor to take into consideration. Most people have seen a Tuscan but very few a T350, me I LOVE IT still grinnin after a month of TVR ownership.
