Does anyone know the price RR upgrade for the T350?

And what does it do? Upgrade power to 390 and upgrade the brakes, anything else?

Also what is the base price for the T350.

I have a 2002 Tuscan S, thinking of swapping to T350.

I have e-mailed dealers in the past and never received replies :-(

Base price for T350 is £38,698 according to Autocar, or £40,698 with the targa panels

At the time I ordered mine, (early March) the RR package was £4000 on top of the list price and included:

Uprated 3.6 Engine to 375Bhp
Brake Upgrade
Vinylester (sp?) lightweight body shell (40Kg lighter than std)
Large Bore Exhaust System

Try and find a friendly dealer who can talk to the factory for you - there could be more options on the engine front at extra cost if you know what I mean

Rich.

Out of interest, how could you tell whether the body's GRP composition was really changed from std? Apart from weighing 2 T350s with the same fluid levels and hoping for 50kg less?

Not trying to suggest anything, just wondering, knowing TVR ;-)

Chiz,
Try talking to John at Racing Green, quite a way from you, but if you P/X your Tuscan in then I can buy it from them, guess its Cascade Indigo?
I need to buy one from a dealer to get the finance sorted out so a private sale is out of the question.

Good point - went up to the factory to see it being built, Lisa was very helpful and explained that the fibre glass cloth is the same as a standard body shell, but the lightness comes from using vinlyester resin, which is more expensive & stronger (therefore less application required) than the standard resin and this apparently counts for the 40 Kg weight saving, plus I have some pictures of the body work with the words "light weight" scribbled at various strategic points on the shell.

Just hope it wasn't someone having fun with a fibre-tipped pen at the factory!

Rich.

Hello Crimson

From the links on my username, have a look at the pictures.

Colour is cascade violet, no indigo.

Cheers
