Been here there and everywhere today, car is running beautifully, roof panels off, engine shrieking. Up the M40 to have a quick shufty at the Griffith Growlers via some great backroads and lots of other pointless fossil fuel usage. Not much traffic around so plenty of exercising the revs. 2,250 miles on the clock now ... using up to 7,000rpm (must adjust the shift lights up now). Crikey I'd better use the A6 for work this week it's feeling neglected.

I've found that taking the seat base cushion out and placing a small towel in place makes the world of difference to how the car feels to me. Firstly I'm held in the seat a lot lot better, secondly I'm not craning my neck to see out the side windows/get a decent view in the rear view mirror. Thirdly, by being slightly lower I get buffeted a lot less at cruise altitude on the motorwat. I just need to get a really thin seat pad made up now (waiting for the factory to get back to the dealer - going to contact some local trimmers myself too - I suspect the factory are heading out on holiday soon).
