I have just collected my car from its first service, and was somewhat surprised, to be presented with a bill for £84.
Apparently, this is the cost of the Oil, filter and Diff oil.
I was under the impression that the first service was included in the price of the car. The dealer said that only the labour is free, although no mention was made of this at the sale..
Is this correct? has anyone else had to pay for first service? When I had the Griff,(also from new), that was all free.

My Chimaera's first service cost something (don't think it was as much as £84 though). It wasn't a surprise - the salesman had told me before I bought it....
cheers,
Craig

Fair enough, it just seemed a bit penny pinching, after just spending £41K on the car.
Anyway, a few miles up the road, revs building, one soon forgets. I must say, the engine now sounds absolutely fantastic and am looking forward to getting out this weekend to put some more miles on.
