Got the car back from 1,000 service Friday night - the dealer was great and fixed most of the snags, all the paintwork and most trim things, and the only mechanical problem I had which was clonking front pads. Started to open the engine up a bit now with the lights set leading up to 6,000. I've explored a bit more than this when showing the car to my Brother everything was nicely warmed through (on Torquay bypass if any wrinklies want to complain ). Wow. FAST.

I am now used to using the gears to drive the car hard, it's not a leisurely drive like the Chimaera but boy is it fun. Makes an awesome noise too.

In contrast the car cruises at 90-100mph quietly and long journeys are not tiring at all (must try to level the seats though, I'm glad there's a transmission tunnel to lean on).

The brakes are great too, but they only slow you down However, does anyone else find that when braking hard the car tends to weave a bit, even when you're holding the wheel tightly? My suspension feels nicely set up and the car doesn't tramline and seems as OK as it can be on really bumpy roads with nasty camber.

I'm getting to like this car. A lot.

Think you'll find little levelling is possible, as seats are canted slightly towards centre for clearance of high sides against interior. I had a second seat cushion made up of 1/2 height by the factory, which lets you sit in seat rather than on it, & slight angle of seat is then barely noticeable - a comfortable solution!

Brakes; done same mileage as you but not tried a panic stop yet; but at 8/10ths braking it's dead straight unless on an uneven camber, & then the slight feedback seems to be an accurate reflection of the road surface/grip that you'd expect in a good sports car.

Tail slide, how much were the pads. I too want these for my T350c
Cheers

Yep, I get that a lot too - quite disconcerting when your braking for a corner on a narrow road...
I was wondering if the bias needed adjusting or something similar..?

Err...slight misunderstanding I fear; I'm on standard T350 pads, which seem fine to me for road use so far, although only just bedded in from new.
