I have driven Griffiths since 1993, currently on my third one. Took a look at the T350C last Summer and decided to wait for the Targa version. Wasn't completely taken by what TVR came up with so revisited the T350C idea this Summer; my shortlist being Black, Red Bull Blue and Silver. Looked at numerous and test drove 3 of them, dealer and privately owned.

Ten days ago I bought a black T350C from Dream Machines in Sussex. Now I haven't yet run into a bad TVR dealer and this place was no exception. I have to say the attention to detail and level of service have been absolutely outstanding, from the moment I arrived for a test drive. Family run business, spent hours with me running over every detail, no pressure to buy and they gave me a super price on a 1 year old with 4k on the clock.

The car. Unbelievable, truly unbelievable. Having done around 100,000 miles behnd the wheel of a Griffith in all conditions over the last ten years, and at all speeds and driven a variety of cars on the road and on the track (never my road car on the track, I mean proper racing saloons), I'm not one to use superlatives, but this car is quite something. Although the performance figures are apparently similar to a Griffith, it is a totally different car. Clearly the power curve is very different and I'll need to get used to a higher revving engine (I used to short shift constantly with the V8, its so torquey), but the chassis is so tight and the handling is so exact that I've finally accepted that the convertible Griffith will have to go. I can live with a coupe when it delivers so much else in terms of ride, performance and looks. The engine has a signature of its own and the sports exhaust gives it a music that has people turning round from 200 yds away. The attention the car is getting is ridiculous.

Because of the convertible issue, I bought the 350 before I sold the Griffith just in case I had made the wrong decision. I needn't have worried.

This car is very special, if you have been wavering over test driving one, waver no longer. People cannot work out why I have been grinning non stop for the last two weeks.

The only downside really is how tricky it is to fuel, but I have that problem with the Griffith too, so I can live with that.

Thats great Arb!!!
I too had reservations about the Tamora before I sold my Chim 450, like you, I needen't have worried, although it doesn't have the great V8 burble, it does have it's own fantastic sountrack, with the added bonus of much much better handling and performance, (although my other half never takes it past 3K rpm, thinking thats as far as it goes!!!!! LOL)
I think that if I now drove my old Chim, it would feel like a barge on wheels compared to the Tam, so the T350C must be even better, due to the stiffer structure.
Enjoy

Absolutely - welcome to the converted! I've been developing a Ginetta over last 12 yrs racing in sprints & hills, but my new T350 is just as much fun & as well-balanced.... and a bespoke luxury interior too when you want to relax...

That is one nice car. I went down to see if and you had bought it 30 mins before I got there, otherwise that would be my car, and not yours

Enjoy it, as I recall is had a Sports exhaust too..., pure ....
