OK. Just got back from a great 280 mile blast around wales. The car was running fine. But just tried to lock it and all I get is the usual locking sequence and then continuous Hazard lights.

Any ideas? Obviously the immoboliser is on but I am still a little nervous.

If anyone can help either post the help here or email me if its something that can compromise security.

This may be simple, but have you made sure the doors are closed properly?, I ask because there have been a few times that I have left the seatbelt in between the door, making it not shut correctly. Hope it's something simple

Yep:

So far tried opening everything;
Bonnet
Both doors
boot
closing them all
Starting engine
the only thing I have not done to make sure is take it for another spin (around cheltenham 1 way system!!)

Drove through the forest tonight, so I was looking out for you in your Tamora! Dam the sheep are slightly scary! Kept wondering in front of us!

Oh dear, another trip to the dealers?, It's only probably minor ,
We were out earlier, seeing a friend of ours in the Forest of Dean, (He has a Tuscan), I am sure we'll run into each other one of these days, (not literally I trust! lol)

try using the imobilizer key, i have found it changes the setting of the alarm, use it once and it stops the automatic shutting of the windows.
good luck.

Thanks. The solution for reasons I am yet to work out was to go for a drive around cheltenham! It settled down and was fine. I think I will mention when it goes for its 1000 miler next week.

Thanks for the advice mind.

Cool , I remember an article written by Jeromey Clarkson, when he was converted to TVRs when he took a Griff around Europe, saying that TVRs were the only cars that seem to heal themselves!!! lol

Well its happened again. Quite irritating really! I think it happens when you lock it, then unlock it again without driving it and open the passenger side first. Its all a bit mad. Other than fire the engine (which I did not want to do tonight as its a quiet neighbourhood) I gave up! Any ideas anyone?

Check that neither of the button in the dash you use to open the doors are not sticking in. I had this problem on mine.

Cheers,
Nick

Read the Meta Alarms brochure?

Then ring them.

Then ring your dealer.

Then the factory.

Then put up with it until it stops doing it on it's own.

(This solution works every time )

Awesome. We went to Wales, so I did not call you, sorry. 895 miles on the clock now. The only issue is the alarm and the cover on the steering column rubbing when manouvering. To be honest, no rattles or leaks and we had some horrendous rain on saturday!

I love it!

I had this on mine when I first got it. Just rub a small amount of Vaseline between the Steering column and the trim at it will be fine.

.... Sit's back and waits for rude comments......

Cheers,
Nick

Fantastic, You will notice a big improvement after the 1k service too and they seem to go on getting quicker and quicker.

Hi Simon
I don't know if this will help you?? but when our T350 was about six months old, we had a problem with the hazards on all the time!! i had to remove the fuse before i could drive anywhere.
The problem was caused by a "ribbon" wire, which had chaffed on something behind the speedo assembly, and causing a short, which made the hazards stay on all the time.
This was soon sorted by Castle TVR, and i have'nt had anymore probs (not with the hazards anyway!!)

Good luck...Dave
