That really says it all!

In all honesty we are enoying every minute of it. Certainly I was sure running it in would be a drag, but nope, its OK. I realise there is so much more to come as I am just brushing the accelerator.

Completed about 300 miles now, so as per the new running in procedures (in the revised manual) I am slowly going to have to start increasing the revs until 2500 miles is reached.

Everything I have found is extremely well put together, on a par with every car I have owned, and judging by the comments on here I was a little suprised. The paint finish is excellent. The only rattle we have is courtesy of Pioneer and it only happens at 60mph because the resonating frequency of the car obviously causes a minor momentary rattle. The only issue is the drivers door does not always want to open, but thats quite easy to snag, but just in case I just am keeping notes of things as they occurr.

I seriously should not have bothered with a CD stacker in the boot, and its the only thing I regret, it takes up too much room, and we just wont need it. I will need to think what to do with it. Full hide is increadibly sumptious and just adds to the feeling of luxury. The AirCon is superb and certainly I have found it to keep us at a great temperature.

Had to pose for about 5 photos yesterday from various people and almost every where we have been people have wanted a conversation about it! The wow factor is definately there!

I will try and post more photos onto my own website / online diary of www.tvrblog.com

Happy Motoring

Simon and Hazel

Nice looking car, dude! I'm really pleased you're enjoying it as much as I do mine. Wait until the engine's loosened up and off the leash...prepare for some wide-eyed, squealy moments when you first test the full range of acceleration!

BTW if you feel the need to show off at Pistonfest today, I have one spare ticket, as my fiancee has decided to stay at home. I'll be there about 11,, and should be around the Eurohoon stand if someone needs to fetch me. Mail me if you want my mobile (I'm leaving at about 9a.m.)

Utlimately its the enthusiasm of all of you that convinced me this was the car to get!

Alas we can not get to pistonfest this weekend, but thanks for the offer.

So you'll be reaching for the carnauba wax then? Drive, don't polish! Sounds like the perfect antidote to this yawn of a summer

Yes it clears with about 1 cm to spare. You have to go very slowly though. The car is a little high, but it feels stable enough and at least I can get it in and out. As I have not seen the clearance for myself I might need to experiment a bit.

"is a bit high" - have you had it adjusted specifically for this then?

Congratulations Maddog!!! So glad you are enjoying your new Tam. Had mine a month now, still running in and I am absolutely amazed at how fantastic and enjoyable she is to drive. Which dealer did you get her from? they sound good! Was it the dealer who fitted the upgraded speakers and tweaters? She is stunning in yellow BTW.

ENJOY!!!!!
