Well after buying the tamora at the Motor Show in October 2000, I am going to take delivery at 1400 tomorrow. Can't wait, been envious of you guys for months now but at last my time has come. Gonna get the 1000 miles done soonish as she is off to Le Mans, here's hoping for a dryish day.

Dicky, so you ordered at the 2000 Motor Show aswell! So that means TVR took at least 2 orders at the Show!
How come you've waited until now? I specced mine up last September and the got one of the first couple of cars at the end of January.
Anyway it'll have been worth the wait. Good luck.
Cheers..... Andrew

You must be fit to burst, with only four hours to go.
I have had mine now for three weeks, up to 800 hundred miles, and booked in for first service next week.
Still got the big grin
Will be even bigger I suspect next week, after the service and so can start building the revs.
Also, apart from a couple of very small bodywork nigles, which are being put right when it goes in, there are no mechanical problems at all.
This is the second new TVR I have brought, and I also had no faults with the previous Griff.
Enjoy, and don't forget to post the picies, if you can drag yourself away from the car

3, Andrew, don't forget me!! BTW, Check the PH meet thread - I've arranged for S, Yorks. boys to meet at J31 of M1 at 11 a.m., so I'll see you there, or if you're early, give me a call. I'll send you my phone number offline. Duncan.

it took a while longer as I had the order with Fernhurst, who GAVE up the franchise last year. So we thought a bit and decided what we were doing that's the reason for our delay

Did they fall or were they pushed??.....depends on who you talk to.....

Enjoy the car, getting mine back today after a week on Holiday at TMS.... It sailed through the 6,000 mile service but they have been waiting all week for a new part for the electric window which was playing up...

Just want my baby back....

The way mine has been running, the problems have already been sorted by TVR! Granted. a few minor trim niggles, and I could pull the gear lever off because some twit had forgotten to put in the retaining screw, but mechanically 100%. And SOOOOOO FAST!

I just hope this doesn't were off, i am bouncing so high my head hurts!!!!!!! and with only 750 miles to go before next afterburner stage and service all booked in before Le Mans, I is ready.
