OK, I've sussed the filling process but can't get more than 52 litres in what I understood to be a 56 litre tank.

I found that I need to look at the fuel gauge reading then put in carefully enough to make up 50 litres. If I do this I get no spitting back/overflow. Also if it clicks off near this point I don't try and put any more in. Any more and it ends up on the floor.

Also, I'm refuelling with around 10-12 litres left - how low does everyone else go? Are the gauges reasonably accurate towards the 'bottom'.

Thanks.

BTW - I seem to be averaging 23mpg.

I get a warning "low fuel - 4 ltrs" when the display says 10 ltrs. I have given up trying to work out how much fuel is left.

I had this problem last week. Thought I had about 15 left and then I get the low fuel warning. This was not a good experience dashing around trying to find petrol.

Also took the car out last night and for a quick spin to turn the engine/battery over as not going to use it for a week or so and found that over the course of about 6/7 miles I went from 14L down to 7 and finshed parked up on 11L.

Therefore to be on safe side I would always refuel at about 12L minimum to stop the panic setting in :-)

As far refueling I always look at whats left as well and try and make up to 55L but it always clicks off with me and fueling is a slow experience - not a painful one though - for some reason standing next to my T350c at a petrol station seems to be an enjoyable experience!!

Got this warning + beep today with 22L still in the tank! Was induced by indulgent cornering around a wet roundabout - grip was obviously rather good.

Even running in is proving to be fun; it can be gently steered on the throttle all day at reasonable road speeds with no fear even if you back off. What a beautifully set up car!

You are right about it being a beautifull car, coz i've got one!! but check out what the numpty reporter in the latest Auto Express mag says abot the T350T. obviously he is used to driving car where everything is controlled for him, and he is probably 17 years old.

(only just seen your reply)

The term 'sports' car obviously doesn't provide a hint that the driver is supposed to provide some form of input??!

I vote that the mag should put him in an F1 car to give us all a laugh ... then steepen his learning curve by activating the remote control accelerator pedal
