Washed my Tammy today and noticed it leaked from the extreme corner/passenger side where the roof panel slots into the windscreen frame. Think the problem is when the passenger door closes and the window pops up, it pushes the roof panel up a bit creating a small gap. When I poke the rubber from the inside I can see a bit of daylight coming through. Have tried to take the roof off and re-insert it more securely but to no avail. Does anyone else have this problem? any tips for resolving it?

Forecast for tomorrow: Rain - O goody!

Cheers

I think you'll find it's a case of "they all do that sir"

You really shouldn't hose direct at roof/window joints as the seal will never be perfect, you probably wouldn't get that force of water in normal driving.

Plus the door/roof alignment will "settle" during the first thousand miles as the body settles on the chassis - any misalignment should be sorted on the first service.

I think you can alter the amount the window pop ups. I read it on here somewhere. As of course mine has not arrived I can not try this theory out!

Is it roof or door seal? My door seal seaked and I got some silicon injected in it and now it is fine.

Definately the roof - where it joins the windscrean on the left side corner. Funilly enough since its been raining it hasn't leaked at all. Think it was just when I washed it and pointed the hose direcly at the spot. On another note, while washing it, I did notice some water had got into the boot. Wierd!
