Someone may already have investigated this. Hope it does'nt sound naff. But as there is nothing to indicate an RR pack I had the idea of getting some red rose enamel badges made up to stick on the centre of each wheel hub. (mine are plain - no TVR). Made enquiries and one off - 4 badges (45 - 50mm) would cost £30 per badge. However if I ordered 50 they would be £8 per badge. Would anyone else be interested in these??

People might mistake it for a Rolls Royce.

I was thinking a simple depiction of an actual red 'ROSE'

Sorry for not taking the posting more seriously. I would be interested in a revised design of the centres, only because when the front hubs get hot, the centres fall out.

Couldn't afford a RR and can't afford to keep replacing centres which are now araldited from the inside. I hope that I've not made too good a job of the fixing, as when tyres are ready for change, I'll need new centres anyway!

I think an image of a red rose might look a bit girly.

I suggest keeping it secret, nobody other than another TVR owner will know what it's all about anyway.

Dawil,

Where did you make enquiries about these badges? I'm trying to get hold of some of the Black TVR wheel inserts for the 18-inch spider alloys which the factory have on back order and am getting tired of waiting for.

A guy on the TVR stand @ the NEC suggested going to an independent badge manufacturer.

Cheers,
James

David, I went down this route some time ago. Leven started to look at making something, but it seems to have fizzeled out. Don't forget Cerb & Tusc can be RR's so getting a batch of 50 ish should not be a problem. As for a "red rose" badge being girlie don't think the english rugby team would agree I would be up for something on each front wing or boot but not wheel centres.

We did look into these some time ago however there did not seem to be much general interest only a handfull of keen people. It would require a tooling cost so hence we stopped looking at it. If the interest is there we will make them

Has Leven any add ons in the pipeline for the t350? An higher spec bonnet badge would be nice.

I got viper (he's on here somewhere) to make a stick on TVR nose badge for me. It looks like the old 350 design and stops people mistaking it for the Ford oval. Also took the old nose badge and put on the rear where the T350 badge was. Seems to have stopped people driving 3 inches from the rear trying to read it!

I know it's a smaller, I just stuck it over the T350 badge. Not perfect but it looks o.k.
