Picked up my T350TRR last thursday. Managed 800 miles. It's brilliant. However I do have some niggling thoughts.
I had an MB C32AMG Est, saw a T30T at Kerridges. Had a test drive and ordered one back in Feb. Since then I have discovered this web site and had I checked first, I may have made some different decisions.
My spec is ICE-Titantium,
Anthracite wheels
Red Rose,
Close Ratio box
Hydratrak,
Air con,
half hide,
DAB radio.
It looks fantastic.
All in all however > £51k.
Now I could have had a Sagaris < £50k hmm
Did'nt realise the extent to which the factory might help personalise the car.
Read some threads where 390BHP engine fitted. hmmm
Read some threads where additional or different speakers could be fitted. hmmm
Read some negative threads re Hydratrak. hmmm
etc.
Too late now. But regardless, I really like this car.
Stopped to let a school crocodile cross the road yesterday (9 -10 yr olds). They waved and shouted, so I let them have as much noise as running in allows. They loved it.
I've even had several young girls wave to me (grey hairs and all). Smiled enigmatically.

Bad news is I kerbed nr side front alloy. Only a bit, but enough be as sick as a parrot. Have some thoughts on repairing this and will post resolution

I thought the Red Rose conversion had 400BHP under the bonnet?

Red Rose,

Why isn't there a  smilie?! Dawil, your car sounds awesome. Large thumbs up on the colour choice too!

re: the alloy, I have had good results in the past from www.wickedwheels.co.uk/ although have to admit, never tried them with anthractie wheels.

edited to say: fully-spec'd T350 vs. a Sagaris? You made the right choice. Your car is beautiful. A Sagaris is, erm, well I prefer the T350 that's all I'm saying.

JimmyT - the RR has around 375bhp and revised induction and exhaust. If its the full RR factory jobbie, it has the lightweight vinylester body, Tuscan S brakes, larger bore exhaust.

Sounds, drives and feels quite different to the standard(?!?) T350...

Yes it is Factory option and yes it does sound awesome even at 4000rpm.

Forgot to say interior is Prussion Blue/Portland Grey. It was a worry until I saw it, but it was a good choice. Looks great. One or two little faults. Worse one was the pin falling out of the tailgate hinge. Opening up there was loud crack and I thought something had broken. But found the two ends of the pin. It needs two people to put it back in. It could have been worse as the tailgate then goes off centre and if I had'nt taken care I could have done damage to the lock and even broken the glass. A bit of Loctite at the factory would have sorted this

By the way, the other pin was loose as well!!!

Just out of interest how much did it cost, and how much work was required?

David,

Nice looking car.
re:the Sagaris don't forget none have been delivered yet, and you've got your car now just in time for the summer.

Neil.

Pic of the interior please! Is Prussian blue that pale, slatey blue?

I think it's something like 60 quid a wheel. I had one done on my Z before it went to it's new owner (cos it was kerbed - not badly, just annoyingly), and they come to your house with a biiiig Mercedes van, and jack up the car, remove the wheel, take it into the 'workshop' (van) and do their stuff. All I know is that when the wheel was put back on it looked perfect - factory fresh. I also had the full set done on my Tuscan last year, prior to collection, and they went from a very tatty set to pristine condition.

No, it's more like a dark Royal Blue, not quite Navy.
Seats are grey with blue inserts. top half of dash blue bottom grey. Door mainly grey with outside pocket bit blue. Head lining and roll cage grey. Grey trans cover and blue carpets. I'm having trouble with my BT YAHOO web site. Will post some pics when I've sorted problem.

Dawil,

Where abouts in Norfolk are you? Have a look at "regional PHers" east anglia if you want to meet up with others locally. A chap in my village near Kings lynn has just bought a T350C and is very pleased with it
