I sold my Chimaera on 13th March and started looking for a T350 in earnest after this. There were some nice private sales about, but I decided to go for a model with some of the later mods, then decided I wanted a Targa. Many of the cars at main dealers then are still for sale now. Not all dealers are like this, but many seem to overprice the cars and sit on them for months.

For example one dealer has a 52 plate for £34,995. There are lots of 03 plate cars for £36-38k. I just bought a brand new Targa for less than a SW dealer is selling their 5,000 mile ex demo car on a 53 plate for. Another main dealer who brags about how big and important they are has a new targa for sale which has been sitting in their showroom for months (thus has the older targa fitments).

If you want a real laugh look at the prices of a certain dealer in Cheltenham.

Come on dealers - it must be costing you to have cars sitting around like this. As for new models you've had to order in to stock to keep up the numbers with TVR, well it would be nice to sell them above list, but surely you'd be better dropping the price by a few thou and moving them?

Just had a poke around the used Cerb market (shh dont tell anyone).

V plate cars at sub £20K and P plate cars at over £22K.

I suppose the niche factor makes it an odd market place.
