Can anyone suggest an easy way of picking up an electrical feed to drive my Geodesy unit. I intend to locat the unit under the passenger dash using a remote GPS sender. The obvious source is the cigar lighter but this is not connected to the ignition so even with a separate switch if I was to forger to switch it off I would run the battery flat. I have had a look under the dash and cannot see anything obvious. Any ideas?

Just wire it into the ignition switch, under the steering column.

Sorry for being especially dim Mrs Fish. I have just looked at the steering column assembly and can see that I should be able to release the lower half to access the ignition switch. However, I cannot tell or see how this is released. Can you advise please?
