I have a sports exhaust from ACT on the Tamora - anyone know whether or not this is likely to cause the car to fail noise level tests for trackdays?

Thanks in advance!

Many tracks have db limits which even standard TVRs fall foul of (but speed-six engined TVRs often ok) Fastest answer may be to ask ACT what approx. change in db their silencer would make - they normally know, and also sell bolt-on db-reducers which I've used to good effect.

Has anyone passed the Castle Combe noise test with a standard T350?

Had the Tamora (with Sports exhaust)checked unofficially, at Cadwell Park, last month.

Was reading 109dB @4000rpm.

I understand Cadwell limit is 104dB (doesn't seem too enforced, tho) and Castle Coombe is strict at 100dB, so I'm way off.

Sounds groovy though......
