Insurance Certificate

Hi all,
My insurance company are requesting proof of the security of my T350C. However, I only have a peice of paper stating it's all CAT 1 etc - but for a Chrimera!!!!
I have asked the originating garage about this and they say that originally thats all the factory could provide. In the meantime he is trying to sort me out a new letter!!! (not a certificate).......which leads me onto my questions;
1, Has anyone else without appropriate proof managed to ensure themselves with the bigname insurers? I don't think that Direct Line etc would accept proof relating to a different model.
2, With insurers like Sunninghill apparently they do not require this proof - is this true?
3, Can anyone point me in the direction of the Mannings website/phone number as I can't find it on the web?
