flipin boot button!

The boot opening switch is being very tempremental at the moment. Any known cures?

Spraying in some contact cleaner / dismantling??

I think it was mentioned some time back that if you reset the alarm it may temporarily clear the problem?

Don't know exactly what you mean by temperamental, when I pushed mine nothing immediately happened other than a "ticking" sound and then about 20 secs later the boot released.

Found to be down to a defective solenoid, it uses the nearside door solenoid, garage swapped it with the offside solenoid and all was OK
