My guess is 4. That's you, together with Flasher, Nubbin and GB1234. Rich...
Oh, Rich, you old cynic - a simple glance at recent threads, and I've found another 6 confirmed owners - Shoggoth1, Corin Denton, Nigel Lewis, JeremyC, Drizzle, and Dougie. Plus any amount of salivating, want one, trade up, type comments! You just want to be a party pooper, don't you?
quote:Certainly not, I just can't count propper. In fact I've been trying to get billb to take one out for a test drive on the MG X80 thread, he wants to trade up from an Elise/MX5 or something. I think and seems tempted! R... www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?f=57&h=0&t=9924

A quick search of the 'Members Cars' section reveals several owners and those with them on order.
Whoops, sorry JeremyC, for elevating to the ranks of the anointed! I counted 11 owners, which is not bad. There are lots of mentions on several threads of "Tamora spotted", which don't appear to be contributors to this site. Leet's have as many of you as possible up to Chatsworth on 9th. June for the Pistonheads meet!
Don't know about a 5.0l but I traded in my 4.0l for a Tamora. The performance difference, especially mid-upper rev range, is phenomenal. The handling and ride are so far ahead of the Chimaera, it's almost unbelievable. My '99 Chimaera was built well, but the Tamora improves even on that. There's a lot more leg room, the clutch is lighter and more progressive, the seats are more grippy, and it feels glued to the road. The gearbox feels better and slicker. All round, definite improvements - except no V8 noise, but the straight six howls like a banshee above 5000revs!! Oh, and it's blue...
