Oh I don't know, you boys...

To answer a few of the questions...
I'm not a big fan of the 18" wheels. I think they look OK, but they will have an effect on ride quality, handling and turning circle. After spending this much on a car, I intend to use the bugger, I'd end up kerbing 18" wheels or they'd end up square (what with the quality of some of the roads I've been on this weekend).
In terms of persuading them (the very nice people at Hexham Horseless Carriages) too let me have a black one it went something like this:
Post test drive...
Me: 'Hmm, I like that. I've heard you can't get them in black'
Dealer: 'No, I wanted the demonstrator in black and wasn't allowed.'
(There was then much looking at colour charts to determine 'black' colours that weren't actually black - like a very, very dark green - in case this could be 'sneaked' past the factory).
Me: 'I really like Moonraker black metallic.'
Dealer: 'I'll phone the factory sir'
(one minute later)
Dealer: 'Apparently, a lot of people have asked for black one's and Peter Wheeler has decided to allow it.'
Completely painless really. When I had the factory visit there was another Moonraker black one, it was one car in front of mine on the production line - so there's at least two.
Someone asked for a backend picture, this is about the best one I've got.

I don't think so - they're just about the only computer company consistently making profits and they've got a cash - yes cash - mountain of over 4.3 BILLION dollars. You could get yourself a nice TVR with that!
