Hi, I have just fitted my new MAF pipe and WOW what a difference the throttle response is so much crisper and it pulls very hard to the red line!!!

It has also produced a slightly deeper exhaust note (strange but true!)

The power increase is around 10hp but I have no dyno proof of that.

It came from CS Performance who are on our links page.

Is the map pipe a HSV part or is it an after market one? Looks different to the HSV pipes I have seen on the Web.

Is it an 'F' body aftermarket item?

It is custom made for the Holden LS1 layout by CS Performance in New Zealand (link on the club site)

If you need and sizes to see if it will fit another car just email me.

Fitted the Maf pipe last night. Nice and easy.

Car has better response and seems a smoother throttle.

But open her up above 3,000 revs and WOW, pulls REALLY HARD.

Very happy.

I presume it will fit the Monaro but does it come with the fittings ?
looks like I'll have to get one and not a bad price at £94.38 delivered.

They come without a hole, but it is easy to drill and fit a rubber gromet.......

Just for info the grommet used on the IAT sensor of the VY series II is identical to the grommets that hold the airbox and coolant bottle on!

Email from CS Performance - mindyou he did not mention any delay in delivery !!

Hi Dan
Thanks for the enquiry.

Yes, my MAF pipes will fit the Monaro’s – I have sold quite a few now to Monaro owners in Oz and GTO owners in the States.

All pipes are supplied with a fitting kit which consists of two lengths of radiator hose and four hose clamps.

Regards

Craig

Trying to order a maf pipe from cs performance, try to order it online with credit card, but it seems to be asking for a "paypal" password as well. Anybody have cs performances phone number?

Mine just arrived today from NZ - must be my lucky week as the engine covers came from OZ yesterday so it will be a fun packed weekend fitting them.

Managed to avoid paying any import duties on these items however I got stung for £13 import tax for a cheapy winchester rifle sight from the States that arrived on Tuesday - it only cost £21 in the 1st place !!

I've got the wants for one of these, but what happens when the engine rocks from side to side ? Doesn't it try to pull the airbox off its mounts ?

The Air box is mounted on rubber gromets, and moves with the engine.....

I have had mine on for 4 months+ and had no problems...

They now have a Mafless version and a selection of colours..........
