Performance exhaust with attitude
Discussion
Just had a *new system made on the spot by www.topgear.co.uk at their Basingstoke centre from the "Powersport" range that comes with a lifetime guarentee.
Very pleased with their personal service and a price that I was amazed at (not for public disclosure). I have opted for a non-cat version with one small rear box, with 650+ BHP it's sound is truly awesome.
* added after downpipes

I am just back from a spin in "V8 HSV" thanks Will.
For now I will just say AWESOME... but it is not finished yet so you will need to wait for the man himself
to do a bit for the site when he is happy with it!!
What I can say is the exhaust is now straight through (still has the balancer pipes) with a small rear box
and it sounds pure NASCAR.
It is not as noisy at idle as you may expect (it has a strange beat to it) but as soon as you give it some stick
it sound fabulous.
So off you all go and take the silencers off.

Well just got the car back and the story goes like this.
I started the car with the new system and said oh. It was not different to the old system, a bit deeper and a bit louder.
Anyway I though I'd give it a try. So drove the 18 miles home down the A1. Sat at 70, nice and quiet inside, just like the old system.
Then I came into urban area and slowed down to a respectable 30 AND WAYHEY, the box must be bedding in, cos its bloody great.
At high speeds its quiet inside, you just hear this scream out the back. But a low speeds the deep rumble is tremndous. It shakes buildings. BUT it ain't loud and to be honest I am pleased with that.
Now people hear us coming down the road, but its the deep rumble that has got better.
Sound clipe will be on its way - I'll update the thread when on the site.

OK chaps, thanks to ukhsv the clip is up and running.
I don't think the clips do it full justice, it sounds best under load and giving it licks round the streets.
I haven't heard it on full song, but my mate said it sounded like 2 Ducatis.
Nice thing is at 70mph its no louder than stock. But at 30mph in the right gear pedestrians are turning from 60 metres away to see whats coming.
Go to the hsv site - video and my exhaust. Any comments....
