You need a suitable scanner to get the correct codes.

If you're driving in this weather, sometimes excessive wheelspin or strange driving situations can cause modern cars to throw a fit and put the light on. Turning off and on again usually resets it.

Not sure if that's the case here though

there was a lot of wheel spin and i have turned the car off and back on but no luck dont fancy driving with out ABS or Traction control

will leave it over night or its a trip to a Vaux garage which would mean a day wasted

I'm sure Motorbodies would happily read the code and deal with it.

you dont list your location - so certain people like myself with a scanner could assist.

mine was put down to dirty sensors in the end.

Although having said that, it is back up in alarm at the minute....but thats probably cos they are fooked after the crash impact. *shrugs*

Happened to me yesterday and a couple of restarts set it back to normal.

This has happened to me the last couple of days. Getting out my road is loads of wheel spin then the ABS fault and esp off comes up. Till me driving around 40 miles for the lights to go off by themselves. Tried my code reader and no faults there.

So must be just the excess wheel spin making it throw a wobbly. Mines all fine now until I have to take the wife to work tomorrow. I was hoping not to drive my car in the snow but my wife had a slight disagreement with the crash barrier in her car.

I've had all kinds of weird stuff after a rolling road session. Usually clears by second start.

Do you get it coming on after wheel spinning in snow like us? Or from wheel spinning in the sand.

what is this snow you speak of? i wouldn't need to spin the tyres. i would be driving
along sitting on 60 and the lights would start popping up then after a little while go away again. when it got really bad the ABS and TRAC lights would be on all the time

Sorry missed your reply - I work in London daily - our office is of city road. Although I'm avoiding the place until after christmas now.

same issue
A snap on reader gave these codes
C1209
C1210
C1234
C1235

the cheap BT reader gave these

P0452
P0952
P1052
P3452

P35aa
B2aaa

I've check the ends of the loom that go into the two abs sensor plugs, they "look" fine - no loose wires. Couldn't get in to check the loom connector (is this the one next to the tank sender loom connector - right hand side?) properly.

Disconnected all 4 ABS plugs in turn. They were all spotlessly clean inside. One of them threw the Engine M Light, and that is when I could get the codes... Codes haven't reappeared after turning off the EML. EML not on, but TC and ESP not working.

Will a tech2 reader with holden software pick up a duff sensor? Or am I best stripping the loom off and testing it?

Any help appreciated.
