Car will only pull smoothly between 1,400 & 1,800 RPM, acceleration & deceleration outside of this intolerable with misfire, engine will rev as normal without load. Expect to see it on a trailer soon en route for LSV.

Brakes fine, ABS sensor leads OK, fuses too and reset ECU.

Any experiences?

Just a though but if ABS is messing about maybe the traction control is cutting the ignition becasue it is getting the wrong info from the ABS sensors?

I know Pomona has "EFILive" which is a data logging software and it also shows error codes in the PCM.

As he is in Southampton it might be worth an email?

If you need any help email me as I am in for the rest of the week.

Thanks for the kind offer, Mark would have agreed with you on the source of the problem with the info given, however when I got it to Linden his diagnositic device said it was the ABS lead off!

Yes it was but not behind the wheel but a connector that now sits under the blower, lesson learned.
