nah the guy wanted an extra grand for it at the time and I rather stupidly thought I wouldnt need a spare that much, wish I had taken it seeing what you've been through dismantling yours, could be useful having one to hand just in case.

Trouble is raving had spares around 4 weeks ago but has sold all the ones he sells without engines. Only has engine and box combos left. He is trying to source me one. I have a third of one as spare

what was he asking for the gearbox+engine combo - you not tempted to buy a ls2 + box and drop it all in?

I'd imagine you could get a fair chunk of the cost of the ls2 back from selling your ls1.

Since Rapid GB Ltd is no more there isn't anyone to get upset. LS Power Ltd is different company and I'm sure Stiggy wasn't referencing them.
