G'Day Guys,

Sorry to miss the get together at the Ace Cafe, but I was in Aussie having fun myself.

As you can imagine one of the first things I did was go to the local Holden dealer to see the Monaro, that was Barry Robertsons of Gosford, NSW who is a HSV dealer as well.

The staff where very friendly and let me sit in a black with yellow leather, HSV GTO Coupe that was in the showroom. I got the wife to take a photo.

I told them about my EH Holden and about the HSV Uk. I also gave the credit card a bashing at the merchandise shop.

The highlight of my trip to Aussie though was the day I drove a yellow Monaro that was owned bye a friend of my Sister in Brisbane. I never got out of 4th gear because the cops are hot on speeding, but I did get a cherp from the back tyes as I hit second. The owner was suprised and said how can someone from England come over here, jump into a Monaro for the frist time and do that with the tration control on ? I just had to get on here and tell someone.

It was fantastic, the car looked great, sounded great and was superb to drive. The owner has had several HSV & GTS's but said the Monaro drove and handle so much better.

I think the Monaro will impress a lot of people here in the UK.

Catch ya L8r,
Rob.

This is my ride Mods King Springs Lowered Complete 2inch Dual 2.5inch HM Headers sounds hot!!! Tinted windows and ECU has been modified by EFI Dynamics www.efidynamics.com the car ran a best of 251rwkw have Dyno sheets to prove thats around the 320 to 330kw at the engine.
Driving this thing is hard so much power but as you know using that power in OZ is impossible with all the cops about. With Traction Control on this thing can smoke them up no problem with all that added power now.

Look forward to seeing Monaro's. Saw on Sky Sports at weekend the Procar series in Aus. Great to see two Monaros running so well and showing a clean tail to Porsche's, Ferrari's and a Lamborghini.

Monaro is aboriginal for a high plateau or high plain and anyone who has spent time in the mountains will understand the power they have on people.

Now where is my snowboard I feel a trip coming on!!!!

Nice ride SirHSV. If its for sale, yes please we'll all have it.
I'll have a look at the forum in the near future.

Tell me what differences you notice with the exhaust mods.

Trust me you hear a huge difference,, hearing it gives me goose bumps everywhere . With this system I gained a lot more kw's then usually. The headers are from HM Headers Australia www.hmheaders.com.au. Example I was driving through the Sydney Tunnel, put it into second gear got it down to 2000rpm and then gave it all up to 6000rpm don’t forget it has 330kw it hits 6000rpm quick. The old lady in the car next to me shit hear pants,,, at that moment immediately I saw just about everyone pull over into the right lane, thinking it was some kind of race car coming through at 220kmph.. When I’m driving through a tunnel I just don’t want to leave it. I will one day download from my camera footage of my burnouts and tunnel action.
