Anyone fancy an event in the Scottish Borders?
Discussion
I know its a long way off and a long way to come, but there is a "Historic Motoring Extravaganza" at Mellertain House about 15 miles N.E. of Melrose in the Scottish Borders.
The event is the 5th and 6th June 2004. There is camping available, but there are B & B's all over the borders.
Gorgeous house in gorgeous countryside with fantastic fast roads - and not many camera's
The event is attended by over 1,000 examples from the day car was invented to modern day. MG's, Rolls Royce, Bently, TVR's, Ford Model T's, Lancia, Fords, Mercs. Lots of stunning OLD examples.
Let me know if you are interested and I'll contact the organiser.

Well I am back down south again after a nice trip back from the show.
The event was in a grounds of a beautiful stately mansion, with the cars arranged around the house.
We had a fabulous spot on the front lawn with the house behind and a lake in front.
As usual the cars received the attention we have come to expect with lots of interest from the crowds.
Thanks must go to "Jagsy" for sorting out the show passes and for proving that Northerners really know
how to make people welcome (even Southerners)
We also got to meet a few of our forum members who came along to support the club..... Thanks Guys.
This show is a must for next year............
