When "V8 HSV" pulled away from me we were doing 120 mph!
and that was the last I saw of him before I turned off.

As for the meet many thanks to all who could make it I think we put on a good show. (7 HSV's)

Also thanks to the Holden Club for letting us come along, a good group of guys.

So what next, any ideas!!!!

I will sort out the web site on Monday, so would some one like to put a few words together to tell others what they missed (Richard is excused as he did the last one)

Once again thanks all

Can't get anything past you guys....

Why? Because I got bored and blasted away from ukhsv to be picked up by a police car under a m/way bridge averaging over 100 mph near Waterlooville ( A3M ). I now await a summons, still he did not add ‘driving without due care and attention’ – which was nice.

Great day with good company and fine weather, thanks to the Holden Club for the invite, was surprised on how many HSV’s they were, probably near to 25% of all that reside in the UK?

Off to LSV in the morning for some mods, in the meantime will contemplate future driving speeds, best thing I can do when I get it back is bugger off abroad, fine is one thing, points are another.

For locals, dont blast down the hill to the A3M at 155!

One idiot signing off

Sorry to hear the Blue Meanies got you! We turned off just after you blasted off!! and went the twisty way home.

Maybe our next outing should have a racetrack attached or a blast to the Nurburgring ?

GREAT DAY - thanks HSV's and Holdens.

Even the old folks thought is was great too.

V8HSV - if that's what's happended now, what will you be like when you get the car back?????

We made it back in 4 hours, arrived at approx. 19.00. Had a great journey - only one idiot in a HGV (note not HSV) tractor unit that swerved into the middle lane as I was parallel with it. I think the blat on the horn woke him up - but it was damn close, made me feel funny.

Had the usual people staring and thumbs up - a car full of young asian lads in 5 series leap frogged us 4 times before pulling up along side with big smile s and thumbs up.

Car did 29 mpg coming home and now I'm on the beer he he - that'll 2 gallons more please....

Well I got my parts too - just need to fit them. Pleased I got the clutch cap 'cos that was kaput.

A little disappointed with the pedals and I hoped they would be metal - lets see what they are like fitted. Pics will appear at some late date. (SJC the new pedals go well with pads - oh did I mention the dice???? hehe).

Look forward to the nest time - close north??????

All the bast

Richard, Lynne and Dan

eee by gum lad - its cold up ere.

Nice to see you all again (and some new faces). I will get the LC to one of the meets at some point. Sorry to hear about plod catching up with V8 HSV!! I got nailed on the M1 at 105 and a lenient 3 points but was doing 130 prior to that. Have managed 165 in the UK but reckon that would be sebatical courtesy of Her Majesty if I had got nailed.

I will send my 30+ pics to Paul for the site ASAP.

Safe driving all.

Very nice to meet all of you yesterday. A very good turnout for the marque, and good to speak with many of you about our shared passion.

We should try to arrange something in the summer entailing a bit of track time so those amongst us with the need for speed can avoid breaking any traffic laws.

Regards, Tim

I stand corrected.

It has been pointed out the pedals are metal. I have done the world famous 'tap' test and yes tap tap tap they should metallic.

Final judgement will be when I fit them. Pics will appear.
