Just added my post to say would I want to own up to owning a BMW or a Merc.

My twopenny worth is that the best car I've ever driven is my BMW 540 Sport (er, supercharged of course), and if you want a car that does everything well, you couldn't find better. But I still prefer to drive the Monaro.
