"Thunder Road 09"

Ladies and Gents,

Owing to the success of Fighting Torque this year, I have approached Javelin to see if they can organise an HSV.org.uk only event, which from this day forward will be lovingly known as "Thunder Road".

The event will basically be a 1/1.5 mile drag event at Woodbridge Airfield a few miles from Ipswich(venue TBC) It will allow people to see what their cars are actually capable of in a safe environment. Times and top speeds can be recorded and if wanted we can have a few awards/competitions. Ultimately the main purpose is to have a great day out and FUN!

It is still early days in the organising but I would like to see some registered interest.

Probably looking to do it on a Sunday 18th Oct 09. Price TBC (circa £99)

Re the IAT thread - you have 217mph to beat if your playing at Woodbridge... and thats within a mile from a standing start!

No your probably right mate! But only if your car was a 1000hp monster with melted HT leads and in need of a new clutch sitting in carpark
