Now what was that he said "The car has no styling..."
MInd you, that came from a man pretending to like the Max Power cars and you could see by his face he was lying.
Anyway, all very well saying it came down the board but it was only a couple of tenths of a second behind the Golf R32 in the dry which is pretty good.
MInd you...he's right about the styling. He he. (Insert your own "wink" icon here as I can't be bothered).

Oh yes, that was the thing that was nagging at the back of my mind.
Clarkson loved the car and wasn't overly impressed by the 1:33 round the track (albeit in the wet) but wait, isn't this the car that was featured in EVO?
Don't I recall seeing it retailed at £38000?
Had 370bhp?
Had the uprated HSV suspension and brakes?
Therefore should be considerably faster round the track than a "cooking" Monaro? And handle much better?
Therefore isn't the new Vauxhall Monaro or anything like it? Bit misleading. Not that facts ever got in the way of Clarkson's views.
