Hi all,

Just stumbled in on this and thought I would say hello. I have been following what has been going roughly with HSV's and the Monaro since they became available here. I presently own a Lotus Carlton and a modified Omega and lust after an HSV to add to the collection. The HSV would replace the Omega as my everyday car as the Omega has slogged for the last nearly 4 years covering 122,000 miles so far.

I am lucky enough to know the owner of a GTS and two owners of GTS-R's. One is blown up to 535bhp and the owner has done all of the work himself.

I haven't driven one yet because I know if I do, I will go and trash a load of money on one. Should I wait to see if the Monaro is any good?

If you want to see some more pictures of my cars, have a look at www.megaomega.co.uk and www.lotus-carlton.co.uk.

SJC,

No, I'm afraid not. The modified GTS-R is in Hampshire (was in Total Vauxhall a couple of months ago), the other GTS-R is in Herts and the GTS is in Essex.
