HSV to sell in the UK again!

This is an email which HSV sent me today.

"Dear Paul

Good news!! HSV plans to export to the UK commencing mid 2004. Our export
program will be fully supported by Vauxhall and the Vauxhall retailer
network.

This looks great news I fancy that new 4 wheel drive coupe. I guess Linden may not be too happy though.

I think Mark will sell less new cars but his aftermarket business will increase as there will be a lot more people wanting upgrades in power etc. (me for one)

and he will still be the only one in the UK who realy knows these cars. Can you imagine chating with the Vauxhall parts dept. about your HSV!!!

Totally agree. I put my HSV to Vauxhall for first service. Apart from emptying the showroom the experience was never to be repeated.

Does this mean that Vauxhall dealerships will be selling Holdens and HSV's side by side? If so I'm not sure it would work. I'd still rather buy a specialist car from a specialist dealer.

I have sent another email to HSV to ask if they would keep the UK HSV owners club in the picture about dealerships, models etc. so I hope to have more details soon.
