80 mph. I'm not after accuracy here, just the speedo reading.

Mine's doing 2,000 rpm.

The reason I ask is that I note the CAR magazine write up on the Monaro quotes 90mph at approx. 1,800 rpm.

That must be one hell of a tall rear diff gear??? Anyone know what the ratio is?

If it's any help my 'vette is geared at 49mph/1000rpm in 6th. The gearbox ratio is 0.5:1, the diff is 3.42:1 and the tyres are 275/40 18s.

Final drive on mine is 3.91:1.

all gts-r 410 bhp cars have 3.91 diffs weith hydratrac lsd,.
all gts cars with 340 bhp have 3.73 diffs fitted with cone type lsd,.
