I wondered what the hell happened to the HSV's that were sold here a few years ago. I spent 8 years in South Australia (my organisation was a Holden Supplier at Elizabeth), and got back three months ago. I don't know how many searches I've done for "HSV" on Google UK. Anyway, here you all are.
Sadly, I never had an HSV myself, but besides the obligatory boomerang and didgeridoo, I did also bring back a very tidy 1969 Camaro 350 convertible with a proper RHD conversion (73 Monaro rack & pinion and discs). Sooner or later I shall get a UK HSV. In the meantime I'll enjoy reading about your guys and your exploits.
When's the next one due up for sale? How many are in circulation, and what do they go for?

welcome to the HSV UK forum.
We are a small group at the moment but with the aid of the new web site (www.karrot.net/hsvuk) we hope to get more HSV UK owners to contribute.
The only place to see HSV's for sale is at Linden special vehicals (www.lindenspecialvehicles.com)
as they are the only dealer. some crop up in the press frome time to time.
As for numbers it is in the low hundreds maybe only 200. so you have about a 1 in 120,000 chance of spoting one on the road!
For more links and some pictures of owners cars try the web site at www.karrot.net/hsvuk (tempory address until we find a good domain name)

Hello and welcome back to the UK.
A RHD Camaro - that'll be nice to see - who did the conversion?
I've read about RHD convcersions for Mustangs and other bits and bobs by Tickford (I think) but the conversion cost MEGA BUCKS.
I just lost a 99 Camaro Z28 - LHD gave me no grief, just a wet road and a nasty bend, oops.
So now I'm in a 2000 HSV yes Sireee. Very nice.
Anyway - as uk hsv says we need info for the web site, so with your links in Oz, can you help - shippers etc????
