I am having real troble getting pads for HSV. unfortunately there is atechnical problem with the UK sourced ones. The car is currently off the road does anyone know of UK companies who can provide them or does anyone have contact with a HSV dealer in Aus.

Hi,

If you want red/blue suff pads for the HSV try powerstop their link is on the hsv uk web site.

also on the for sale page are some rear pads.

Thanks for links. The problem I have is there is a technical query on EBC pads at the moment so not available. I cannot link to the karrot site. I am trying a few other sites and if I find something I will let you know.

here is the details from the for sale page on the uk web site:

Got a set of rear disc pads for the HSV that are no longer required.
Supplied by Genuine Import Vehicles as 'premium brake pads for HSV'
invoice piced at @£110.64 + VAT in 2000.

pps. is there a safety problem with the EBC brakes as I have a new set for track days? and would hate to put them on and they fail!!

here are some part numbers on brake pads which may help!

Premium brakes front (Harrop 4 pot caliper)
343mm x 32mm disc # DBA055
Bendix # DB1355
Ferodo # DB1355 hasn't done TS2000 yet
Ferodo # FRP1077 DS2500- not exactly same shape but does work
EBC # 21014 Greenstuff
EBC # 31014 Redstuff

Premium rear (Harrop 4 pot caliper)
315mm x 18mm disc # DBA049
Bendix # DB1356
Ferodo # DB1356 (TS2000 not yet avail)
Ferodo # FCP451 (DS2500. Is Porsche pad and 18mm thick.....needs linishing to 16mm )
EBC # 21013 Greenstuff
EBC # 31013 Redstuff

Many thanks for all this help.
Aparently its the latest batch. Mark is recalling those sent.My problem is car due MOT and needed pads. Should be able to find some from your list.
