Craig, got mine insured through Tesco's very reasonable considering. (I think it was about £700 fully comp, age 37 full ncd)

That's pretty good! Am 35 myself with full NCD so should be pretty similar I guess, that's cheaper than the Boxster I have now.
Do you have an HSV at the moment? I'd be interested to know what you think (maybe even meet to see it?), any problems you've had, etc. There doesn't seem to be very many around so it would be good to hear from a first-hand owner. Running costs would be interesting too as I'm covering about 25,000 a year which was partly why I got the Boxster which is pretty good from a cost perspective and returns more than 25mpg.

Craigs, click on my profile and you'll see I am indeed an owner. Hmmm 2 seater to 4 seater do I sense the patter of tiny feet? To answer your question I'm very happy with the car, had it about 18 months with no real probs and it does everything I want it to do. It's quick ( for a big 4 door saloon) very comfortable, well balanced handling, lovely noise but quiet on the motorway and rare as well. You're welcome to have a look anytime. On the downside the dashboard is a bit old-fashioned and the gearbox a bit crude. MPG seems to range from up to 28 on a decent run down to 15 around town. Build quality won't be to Porsche standards but GM/ford. Basic oil change stuff can be done at any reputable garage but I've always used LSV for that and warranty work.
